Water Base Products.
We at
BoardMaster were one of the first to implement and apply the water base system.
Due to high levels of toxic VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) water base greatly
reduced indoor toxins resulting in significantly lower to non existing VOC
odour. Extremely durable and faster dry time/cure time to allow clients to
return to their normal everyday lives. Water Base finishes are green label
resulting in environmentally friendly. Water base results in the entire sheen
being layered within the finish where as oil based finishes can be described as
a loaf of bread, once the exterior has been penetrated the interior wares
drastically quicker resulting in refinishing prematurely. If hardwood flooring
is treated with water base products the life expectancy is 2-3 times greater
for ware ability and sheen. New technologies have resulted in time tested water
base finishes outperform 3:1.
Oil Base
A thing
of the past, if companies are still implementing oil based finishes they are
falling behind with the new technology that is prevailing within the industry.
However Oil base products are becoming obsolete resulting in an extremely
difficult product to obtain. This is beneficial because it results in industry
advancements requiring professionals to adhere to green policies do to the
ozone toxins provided by the use of oil based products. In the past Green was
not as big of a concern as it is today. We at BoardMaster foresaw this trend
and have been utilizing Water based products over oil based products for the
past 10 years keeping ahead of the competition.
Bona X Line
We at
BoardMaster strictly use Bona water based products. Bona has been around since
1919 and are a Swedish company. Bona’s research and development far surpasses
any other for time tested water based products. The industry standard in Bona
made products with the best warranty available. The use of any other
manufacturer results in an inferior product in BoardMaster’s opinion. Having
tried and tested other manufactures products of lower cost we have resulted in
far less quality.
Bona Mega
We at
BoardMaster prefer Bona Mega product line because of its extremely great
results in residential areas. Bona Mega line has covered over 136 million m2 to
